We have a son and two dogs and spend our free time hanging with family, eating good food, being in nature as much as possible, and enjoying the simpler things in life. We are all committed to spreading love, kindness, and good bread.
We began our bakery journey simply by falling in love with bread. At The Proof Bakery, we like to educate our community on why sourdough matters, what makes it different and versatile, and how it can help you! We've been growing our wild yeast sourdough culture, "Peach", since 2017. She is used in all of our sourdough baked goods, which means all of our products are fermented and free of commercial yeast! That's something we cherish--making the bread we all share as genuine and additive free as possible. We believe in community (you!), quality, and honest, hard work. We like our bread to taste that way too.
The Proof Bakery is a honored to be part of and support the real bread campaign. They have put in years of effort to champion real bread bakers and honest bread. To us, real bread is defined as bread made with natural ingredients and free of additives and fermented slowly - we strive to make every single loaf just that way!
